KULARTS is in the beginning stages of planning Nursing These Wounds and we would love your help! If you are a nurse, whatever the stories, we would love to hear them!

We welcome you to share as much or as little information as you are comfortable with in a 90-minute virtual story circle facilitated by Edward Dantis and Joyce Lu, PhD. Edward is a Listening Hour guide and also a trainer of guides and will be using this format to lead the session. Your sharing will provide the Kularts artistic team with the inspiration to tell a fictional story of Pilipinx health and healthcare workers. Each story circle will have up to six participants and be recorded for research purposes. Portions of the recordings may also be used in the final performances. Each participant will receive an honorarium of $50 USD.

Nursing These Wounds will premiere as an outdoor site-specific piece in Fall of 2022 and will be developed further into an indoor staged performance that will be presented in the Fall of 2023 also in San Francisco.
